Description

To be the #1 Beauty Tech Company, we need to synchronize our business and IT transformation to “augment” our products with Data and Tech powered services and to accelerate our journey towards being a fully data-driven smart enterprise. To make it happen, we have decided to create the Tech Accelerator to deliver key strategic AI and Tech use cases in an accelerated mode. The Tech Accelerator will be structured around 3 key hubs: Paris, New York and Shanghai. David Cressey is the Beauty Tech Accelerator Director. L’Oréal’s objective is to be the #1 Beauty Tech Company. In order to do so, we aim at synchronizing our business and IT transformation to “augment” our products with Data and Tech powered services and to accelerate our journey towards being a fully data-driven smart enterprise. To make it happen, we have decided to create the Tech Accelerator to deliver key strategic AI and Tech use cases in an accelerated mode. After graduating from ENSAE with a major in Machine Learning and Computer Science, David started his career in Trading and Quantitative Analysis with Société Générale. He then moved to Cap Gemini consulting, as Lead Data Scientist, where he helped developing significant Data Science capabilities and he worked on large transformative AI factory projects. Before joining L’Oréal, David was head of AI strategy for BNP Paribas Retail Banking & Services. David will mobilize his deep background in data science associated with his experience in setting-up large scale AI digital factory to structure the Paris – Tech Accelerator. David will be in charge of the management of the projects portfolio within the Paris accelerator, the development of a pool of internal resources and an ecosystem of key partners to deliver key strategic Data Science/Tech Use Cases in an agile mode at scale. We wish David a lot of success in this key endeavor to make L’Oréal, the first Beauty Tech Company.
